Industrial policy “Associate advisor” position with emphasis on digital transformation

We are seeking an Associate Advisor to support our work, notably on Digital Transformation Initiatives and Policies.

In this role, you will work with our members, organize / facilitate working group meetings to develop and co-ordinate positions and studies on industrial policy with an emphasis on digital technologies and their impact in business. You will be actively involved in writing studies, processing data and shaping policies while expected to contribute to the broader work of the department and ensure good cooperation with other SEV departments.

In this role, you will:

• Support the documentation and promotion initiatives, to encourage digitization of production, upgrade digital infrastructure, strengthen digital security.
• Initiate studies about digital transformation and state of the art technologies.
• Analyse macro trends, forecasts, indicators, and survey data about industrial policies with emphasis on digital transformation of companies and industries.
• Follow up, analyze and document EU and national legislation (e.g. AI act, data act).
• Co-ordinate working groups for policy recommendations and studies preparation.
• Draft position papers, briefings, speeches, presentations, written communication.

 Profile:

• A university degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Political science, or Economics. A post graduate degree in relevant to ICT topic is desirable.
• At least 3 years work experience in industrial policy, engineering, consulting, or ICT
• Networking, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent spoken and written skills in English
• Proficiency in MS office tools
